Dr. Yang Liu earned his B.S. (2001) from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China, PhD. (2006) from Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, CASs, China. After postdoctoral training at the University of California at Riverside and Oakland University from 2007 to 2009, Dr. Liu joined the Department of Chemistry, Tsinghua University in 2009, and was promoted to associate professor in 2011.His research interests include the electrochemical analysis and novel methods of tracing molecular and cellular analytes, especially those associated with the post-translational modification processes. He has published over 110 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters, including those in J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., and Anal. Chem. He received the support from the National Natural Science Foundation for Excellent Young Scholar (2016). He was awarded as the second prize of National Natural Science Awards (ranking 3rd, 2015), the first prize of Natural Science Award of Ministry of Education (ranking 2nd). Dr. Liu currently serves on the editorial board of Nanomaterials, and the Youth editor of Chemical Journal of Chinese University and Journal of Instrumental Analysis.
